As per your complain and presentation of symptoms white tip of tongue seems to be due to chemical burn cause by acid as you are suffering from heartburn which indicates that you have acid reflux problem and due to reflux of acid from stomach to food pipe and to throat and acid can lead to chemical burning and it leads to inflammation and white appearance due to injury to the mucosa.. Nothing to worry and first of all get treated for acid reflux,consult a Gastroenterologist and get evaluated and the doctor can advise you to take Proton pump inhibitors like Pantoprazole or Omeprazole and antacids like Digene. Drink plenty of water as it helps in dilution of acid.. Avoid acidic and spicy foods. Take a short walk before meals. Sleep with your head slightly raised as compared to legs..
