Why My Suboccipital Lymph Node Is Swollen?
I have a swollen left side suboccipital lymph node. Hard. Had it about 3 weeks. I had a bite on my scalp I think a few weeks back. Now is has subsided but still flaky. Also I have had over the past week a sharp pain every so often in my left ear. What could the cause of the bump in my suboccipital node be? Have a doctor s appointment in a week, soonest she could see me.

sub occipital lymph node enlargement will be seen in any ear infections or lice infestation of scalp or ur past bite of scalp.for better evaluation visit an ent surgeon.
