Why My Husband Is Having Severe Back Pain On The Left Side With Dark And Bubbly Urine?
my husban has a severe pain in his lower back more on the left side. He is urinating really frequently and in large amounts. His urine is dark and bubbly. His left side of his abdomen is bigger then the right and when you press on it it gives him pain in his back. he takes lithium and seroquil for bipolar dissorder.
The severe pain in loin and lower back with dark urine and bubbly that your husband has is most likely to be due to presence of stone either in kidney or ureter and nneeds to be investigated .
Consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis. 1) Urine routine and culture. 2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis
In the mean while start taking antibiotic like Cefotaxime and Nitrofurantoin along with pain killers like Cyclopam twice daily .
Ensure to drink more water to produce more urine .
Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.
