Why My Heart Rate Jumps And I Begin To Get Sick?

I recently developed adrenaline rushes at night right before falling into a deep sleep. I have not had these for a few weeks not but today experienced waves of adrenaline followed by very upset stomach and hot/cold feelings. My heart rate jumps and I begin to get sick. When these surges occur My heart rate jumps up at least 20 beats per minute.
