Why My Eyes Are Red?

I have been waking up with my eyes being really red. They don't hurt and in about a couple of hours of being awake they return to normal. Some days they are a little crusty, but not all of the time. I haven't worn my contacts for about a week now, and it is still happening.

Hello
It seems from the history that youare having red eyed in the morning with crusting of eyelids.
This indicates conjunctivitis and requires treatment by the use of antibiotic eye drops.
You should avoid use of contact lenses till the infection is resolved.

Thank you
