Welcome to Health care magic.

Consuming heavy amount alcohol can cause numbness and waking up in the morning with alcohol withdrawal causes Hangover showing symptoms like disorientation, numbness, dry throat. This is a temporary neuropathy but excessive and prolonged consumption may lead to conditions worse than neuropathy like Hyertension, Cholesterol, Hepatic carcinoma, Malnutrition, Renal carncinoma, Throat cancer, Lung cancer.

I would advice you as follows,
1) Avoid consumption of alcohol.
2) To consume food compulsorily after consumption of alcohol.

Wish you a good health.
