Why Is There Bleeding After Taking Nordette After Unprotected Sex?

I got my last period on November 9, 2013. I had unprotected sex early morning of November 29. I took the first dose (4 pills) of Nordette within 72 hours and the second dose (4 pills) 12 hours after. I am still experiencing the withdrawal bleed (which started on December 6). When am I suppose to expect my actual menstruation? Sometime this December? Or the next cycle in January 2014?

Hi, thank you for writing to HCM. Actually, from the information you have given, having unprotected sex on 29th November could not have raised any alarm since it was not within your fertile period. The bleeding you started having from the 6th December was probably your menses. You do not need to worry.
I hope I have answered your query
I wish you good health
