Why Is The Hucog 5000iu Injection Prescribed During Pregnancy?

I am 2 months pregnant & had an ultrasound yesterday ...my gynea has told me to take 8 injections of hucog 5000 till the end of 4 th month...she has told me that the size of baby is not much...that s why she is giving me...i am worried ....please help

HUCOG is Highly Purified Chorionic Gonadotrophin Injection. HUCOG 5000IU is sometimes administered in first trimester to support pregnancy. HCG injection is given to prevent chances of early pregnancy loss.
Hence, the injection could have been advised.
Kindly follow what has been advised by your doctor. Eat healthy diet and keep yourself well hydrated.
