Why Is My Mother Feeling Fuzziness In Her Eye Sight ?
My mother is 88 years of age. She has had macular degereation for many years. Recently she is complaining of fuzziness with her sight. This has caused her to be somewhat nauseaus as well. She had a catarat removed about a year ago. She does wear glasses. Could her vision have changed to the point of her needing a new perscription or do you think this is caused by something else. Thanks for you help.
the following could be responsible
1.need for change of glasses
2.opacification of membrane called posterior capsule needing laser treatment
3.progression of macular degeneration
4.any retinal disease..to be checked by a fundus exam
5. she should also have a eye pressure checkup done
