Why Is My High Blood Pressure Not Under Control Even After Medication?

Why isnt my high blood pressure under control even when I take medication? I am currently under 2 medications (Ambeon Benicar HD) and my HBP is still giving me headaches on the back of my neck, I know by experance that this where HBP headaches happend. What could be going on? correction on meds: it is Aceon and NOT Ambien sorry

the medication just might not be working for you. everyone's body reacts differently to different meds. call your doctor, explain what's happening, and perhaps ask to switch to something different.

Read your prob, if your blood pressure is not controlled even after taking medicine then you should rule out primary cause of high blood pressure, you should get blood test for renal profile, lipid profile, ECG, n 2D echo. you should change medicine after consulting with your doc. along with it you should take salt restricted diet, start morning walk os isometric exersise.
