why is my father shaking and freezing? 10 pts for the best answer. ? help me w/ /dis prob.. my father is freezing. i ask him, whats da problem he anwered, no ders no problem, it jsut like i m feeling cold. he s feeling cold, dats wat he said to me actualy my dad is a diabetic his hands is shaking. not only his hand but his whole body he s shaking an d i dont know why? in the morning, he is eating ampalaya and egg. in the afternooon, he went out but when he came back home, he suddenly shake like whooa. pls tell me why is he acting that strange? i m not kidn around. i m serious! after getting father s blood sugar, it s actually HIGH not LOW he is not freezing or shaking anymore. but i m still worried. for now he s resting for a moment. he dnt like to go to hospital.

you need to take him to hospital whether he likes or not. it is a serious issue for some or whole part of the body is shaking in diabetes. it may be the sign of nerve involvement in diabetes.

Hi. Get him properly evaluated. Tremors can mean hypoglycemia, hyperglycemia or maybe even diabetic neuropathy...when the nerves start being damaged because of uncontrolled sugar levels. Either way please treat it seriously. Even very high levels of sugar can lead a patient into coma.

If you thinking in terms of diabetes patient having tremors (shaking). It is one of the complaints associated with decreased blood sugar.

But there are other reasons for tremors.
