Why Is My Child Having Watery Eyes While Watching Television?
Hello Doc, my daughter is 15 months old. She has recently had conjunctivitis but is absolutely fine for nearly a week now. She watches a but of a TV and I have noticed her eyes are watering..while playing its ok but when she is constantly watching something her eyes are watering.. Could this be a problem?

hi as a doctor we advice parents to avoid watching telivison as far as possible. it is adviced to not watch tv for more than half an hour total in a day below 6 years of age. as far as your question goes constant peering at tv can cause dry eyes and it prompts the eyes to become moist. so every ten minutes of watching tv close eyes. blink often when staring at a screen. if problem persists it needs to be checked
