Why Is My Baby Spitting Food After Hours?

My baby is 6 1/2 months old. I ve been giving him different foods over the last 3 weeks, usually spread out over a 3-4 day interval. He s been spitting up curdled milk about 1-2 hours after he s eaten. do you think its from the baby foods or the formula? He s on similac advance and has been since 3+ months but this just started about a month age.

Pediatrician 's  Response
hi madam , the most common cause of spitting in your child's case is overfeeding, the distended stomach tends to release its content through the spitting , try to give him less food but appropriate amount of milk and see what happens , as you mentioned this problem is noted for 1 month now , so it's unlikely to have some anatomical abnormality in the gut , so there is no need to panic and try the above mentioned .
I hope this helps
