Hi, may I answier yveour health queries right now ? Please type your query here.age 6. weight 19 kg..ive a6 yr girl she has fever frm last 6 dayz,wit vomitting .dr has given syrp calpol&zinnat.bt fever nt decreased.she also problem in ear ,means pain.plase suggest dr.

Hi,thanks for query.As per the symptoms she seems to have some ear infection or upper respiratory tract infection.the drugs given are fine,but at times it is possible that the dose of antibiotic may not be proper.Please also make sure that the drugs are retained and thrown out every time due to vomiting.If this is the case please give anti emetic drugs first and then give the regular drugs.Give her light diet,and plenty of liquids.

Fever has thousands of causes .In rainy season high and continious fever is common in children.Please continue the medication.High fever itself causes vomiting.thanks.

hi welcome to hcm.you have to go through blood test CBC,mp or widal it may be bacterial or viralor does she had cold and cough?concern pediatric doc. for that.
