Why Is My 5 Year Old Child Having Fever?

My 5 yr old has averaged a temp of 103 for 3 days now. It started with a fever and vomiting, and now is congestion. She has always had asthma. She can't seem to hold down any food. I don't know if the vomiting is because of the coughing. I'm worried about the fever. I have been giving her Tylenol every 5 hours and it isn't bringing her temp down

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe, the baby has fever, vomiting, asthma, since 3 days.
You should immediately consult a pediatrician, for diagnosis and treatment. She may need nebulizer as well.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms domperidone, paracetamol, cifixime, and cough syrup having an antihistamine.
Never neglect any child with fever vomiting and dyspnoea.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
