Why Is Morphine Not Subsiding The Excruciating Pain, Severe Burning Sensation And Pins And Needles In Leg?

I get an excruciating pain in left leg. Like it's my skin on fire. Pins and needles. Starts in same 2 spots each t I me below the knee on the inside and above knee inner thigh. It lasts 24 hours almost exactly each time. Doc says not sciatica. It hurts so bad I just want someone to cut my leg off pills don't help noteven a shot of morphine. Only if I take enough pills like gravol to make me sleep thru it...

Hi. You have a type of pain called neuropathic pain. Morphine or traditional pain killers will not relieve your symptoms. You need to take tablet gabapentin or pregablin. Then I would recommend you see a neurosuregon as one of your nerves is being compressed.
