Why Is It Hard To Stand On The Leg Where The Bee Has Stung?

My husband says he was stung possibly by bee on his lower leg 12 weeks ago while mowing the grass. As of today he still limps so bad and he can hardly stand on his leg. Says it starts at that area and runs up his leg to his hip. Don't see how this can be 12 weeks later. He needs to see a doctor but doesn't want tons of test over this. Do you know of anyone that has encountered such a thing from a bee sting?

It is possible to get pain and inflammation from bee sting like this but possibility of bites from other organisms/creatures should be ruled out first.
So, If he is sure that he has a bee sting then he may take anti-histaminic and anti-inflammatory drugs for relief. But if not sure, then please visit a doctor for physical examination and investigations to rule out bites from other organisms.
All the best.
