I foumd out today that i am about 3-4 weeks pregnant and have a drug test in 2 days. I also have not smoked in 2 days but need to pass this test in order to get the job that will help me support my unborn child and myself. I was going to use a detox drink but now that I ve found out I m pregnant I m not sure what to do

Thank you for the question and thank you for visiting our site.

When you say that you have not smoked, I am assuming marijuana. My attitude about this is that the worst thing that you can do is try to hide things. This drug takes time to get out of your system and it cannot be done in two days. Also, there is no data on these detox drinks and potential for injury to the pregnancy. Your best option is to be honest about what you are smoking, honest about the pregnancy, and assure your future employer that you are receiving care and are planning on a healthier path moving forward. A letter to this effect from your OB Provider might help to keep this job.

I hope that this helps and good luck!
