Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. You have been advised to take Zapiz (Clonazepam), Sizodon (Risperidone), Anxozap (Oxazepam), Torleva (Levatiracetam), Valance/Encorate (Sodium Valproate) etc. These medicines are psychiatric medicines and have different use. Valanxe and Encorate both are mood stabiliser drugs but are also used in seizure disorders. Torleva is also a Antiseizure drug and the drug is also used in mood stabilisation some times.

Zapiz is Clonazepam and the drug is used in anxiety disorders and also in symptoms control in OCD and for sleep. Anxozap is also a benzodiazepine drug like Zapiz and have same uses as Zapiz. Sizodon is Risperidone and the drug is used as a mood stabiliser drug, as an antipsychotic drug and also in resistant cases of OCD and other disorders.

The duration of treatment depends upon the clinical condition, on opinion of prescribing psychiatrist and on guideline. In most cases treatment should be continued for at least 6-12 months post symptoms remission. Consult your doctor for more details.

Thanks, Hope this helps you. Take care
