Why Is Placentrex Injection While Trying To Conceive?

Dr today a gynecologist prescribed me placentrex injection...is that help me for conceiving? Whenever I asked her that is there any complications? she tell me that no everything is normal. If everything is normal then why should I have take this injection?

Hi I think you should go for evaluation first. Get a thyroid profile and prolactin level and a ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries. Also get a semen analysis done for your husband. Get a HSG done to see the tubal status. Placentrex is generally given to clear tubal blockage if it is there on HSG. It can be helpful in recurrent episodes of pelvic inflammatory disease also. Discuss with your doctor regarding this. Hope it helps.
