Why i have not gained weight on first trimester ?

I am 26 years old. I am 11 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I have been told by my OB-Gyn that I had to gain weight. However, I find this to be quite a difficult task since I often feel nauseous when I think about food and when I m full and when I take in food that s more than I m used to. I try to eat more this time than I used to. But somehow I just don t see any weight gain at all. It s either I maintain or I lose a bit. During my last pre-natal check up, about 2 weeks ago, I lost 3 pounds. But when the doctor tried to feel my tummy, she said the baby did grow. However, I did not put on weight, despite proper diet and 2 glasses of milk everyday. I m worried. Could this really cause serious problems to the baby?
