Why I Feel Tightness In Chest, Rapid Heartbeats And Headache?

After approximately an hour after eating lunch today, I began to feel tightness in my chest, like chocking, my hear beating rapidly, really weak, fainty, and I had to lye down, and then a massive headache followed. This episode lasted about 10 minutes, I took an aspirin. I got up after about 15 minutes, and the episode happened again. It really scared me so I wrote down my medicine I take, and told my friend if it happened again I was calling 11. Any suggestions as to what I was experiencing?

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, we should first rule out heart diseases in your case.
Heart diseases can cause tightness in chest, tachycardia (high pulse rate), recurrent episodes etc.
So get done ecg and 2d echo.
If all these are normal then no need to worry for heart diseases.
Your symptoms are worsening after meals. So GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) can also be the cause. So take proton pump inhibitors and prokinetic drugs. Avoid large meals, instead take frequent small meals. Avoid hot and spicy food.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
But first rule out heart diseases.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
