Why Hucog 5000 Iu Injection Using For?
3-days back, my pregnancy got confirmed through an early pregnancy test (transvagina scan). I don't have any external bleeding but a blood clot is observed in the scan report. Doctor asked me to take HUCOG 5000 IU. May I know the use of this injection?

Hi, I have gone through your question. Hucog 5000 is human chorionic gonadotropin hormone which is given to support the development of fetus and is usually given in conditions like:
1. Threatened abortion
2. Bleeding around the foetus( subchorionic haemorrhage)
It is given up to 12-13 weeks of pregnancy.
