Dandruff has no direct relation to hair loss - itching and consequent scratching weakens the hair base contributing to later loss.
Normally also the hair falls - some falling, some growing - it has a cycle. Generally it is not obvious.
A good nutrition is the most important one to reduce hair loss. A clean scalp - no infection - is important for healthy roots to maintain and grow. What we see outside is only the dead portion of the hair! - the living root is inside the skin
There are several local applications - even in super market shelves - to manage dandruff.
Ask your GP for a good dermatologist (skin specialist) - he is the best person for further advice and follow up.
Do not worry - after all it is cosmetic! Worry only worsens your attitude further
God bless you
Good luck
