Why Ferrous Sulfate Is Prescribed For Diabetic Patients?
My hemoglobin is 9.7. Tsat is 3% and ferritin is 1. I have been short of breath and fatigued and now I feel like my vision is being affected. I am an RN/BSN working in dialysis so I am very familiar with these labs. My doctor started me on ferrous sulfate TID but I am not feeling any better. Is this blurry vision normal? Should I be getting other treatment?
