Why Experiencing Tightness In Throat After Consuming Alcohol?
Namaste, Dr. Bhatti. Quick question: I have been experiencing a tightness in my throat and an effect that almost feels like a bubble in my throat after I consume alcohol lately. Does this mean that I m allergic? It has only happened recently, like in the last year, and occurs the next day after a couple of beers or wine.

I don't think you are allergic to alcohol. The symptoms you perceive are may be due to sore throat. Since it is happening on next day of alcohol consumption. you need not worry. Do some warm saline gargling frequently. you should be alright.
