Why Does The Chest Feel Tight On Sitting And Lying On Side?

im 27yrs old, i weight 124, and im 5,5`` i have been healthy all my life until now, my chest feels tight, it feels like my lungs cant expand all the way out, and i always want to try to take a deep breathe and it always worst when im sitting and laying down on my side any suggestions?

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

Here according to history no clear cut one cause found....
Rule out ....
-stress induce problem or ...
-respiratory causes...

If you are taking excess stress then also such presentation can be there.
This cause seems most likely..
Consult psychiatrist for counselling....
Try to avoid stress.

Second rule out respiratory causes by pulmonary function test and chest x ray...
Accordingly investigated and treated.

If still cause not clear stress test and ECG done.

If still no cause found there might be simple muscular strain ....

Keep these in mind and consult physician..
