Why Does One Kidney In My Child Appears To Be Small ?
My child undergo an ultrasound scan because of her UTI .....and in the report it is seen that her left kidney is comparitively smaller than right kidney (almost 2cm smaller)....also it is seen a mild right sided pelvic fullness....she is 3 years and 5 months old......but the size of both kidneys seems normal.....
Hi,Anupriyaji,
Welcome to HCM,
As your child is having one small kidney and there is pelvic fullness,it is likely that he might have some congenital anomaly in the kidney.
Consult Nephrologist and get diagnosed.
Ok and bye.
