Why Does One Feel Nauseated At The Sight Of Food?

Hey, my mom hasn t bought me/made me any food that I want to eat for like 3 weeks. All I ve been eating is 1 bagel in the morning at school and 1 pb&j for lunch at school and nothing when I get home. Today my mom brought me to the supermarket and I really dont feel like eating anything at all. Today s thanksgiving too so I m supposed to eat. Any time I smell food I feel like I m going to throw up. Is this normal ?

IT IS NOT REALLY NORMAL TO FEEL NAUSEATED AT THE SIGHT OF FOOD, AT LEAST IN YOUR CONDITION. U SEEM TO BE YOUNG(SCHOOL-GOING), SO U SHOULD HAVE A NORMAL HEALTHY APPETITE. IF UR MOM DID NOT BUY/COOK FOR U, U COULD HAVE ASKED/REQUESTED HER OR MADE SOMETHING FOR YOURSELF.

NOW BECAUSE OF YOUR BEING ON EMPTY STOMACH FOR LONG HOURS AND IRREGULARITY IN FOOD HABITS, U HAVE DEVELOPED FOOD AVERSION. PL DO NOT WORRY, ITS JUST A PASSING PHASE. I SUGGEST-

1. START EATING DRY/SOFT FOOD ITEMS LIKE WHOLE-GRAIN BREAD, BISCUITS, FRUITS.
2. EAT 4-5 SMALL MEALS EVERY 2-3 HOURS RATHER THAN 3 HEAVY MEALS
3. AVOID OILY/ GREASY ITEMS/ FRIED STUFF OR FOOD WHICH IS TOO SWEET/SUGARY
4.IN FUTURE PL KEEP REGULAR FOOD HABITS
5. IF NAUSEA IS BOTHERSOME, TAKE TAB ONDANSETRON 4 MG HALF AN HOUR BEFORE FOOD FOR 2-3 DAYS. WHEN YOUR STOMACH SETTLES DOWN, U CAN STOP IT
