Why does my son get fever so often? What can I do?

my son is 3 1/2 years old and he is getting fever very often like once in 10 days with a high temp upto 101 degrees, and we are giving Ibukind-plus suspension for every 8 hours and he gets relieved after 30 min, when we checked up with the doctor he has suggested the same suspension along with Droxyl 250 DT tablet, my question is whether is it ok with my son is getting very often and whether can i use the same medicene

Hi Gtkiran,
Thanks for writing your query.

It seems that your child is having low immunity. This will result in frequent infections.
Children are more prone to infections in this age group. As the age increases, the body immunity increases.

You should follow healthy life style and encourage your son for following healthy habbits :-
1. Doing regular exercise in fresh air.
2. Washing hands before and after eating.
3. Eating fesh fruits and vegetables.

Droxyl is an antibiotic and should be given along with a probiotic preparation. It should be given only when bacterial infection is suspected.

I hope if your child follows above precautions, his frequency of falling ill will be less.
