Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
two month old baby. Crying (screaming-which is rare for her) off and on for 2 days and hard to console during these periods. Stools where yellow brown like normal for her. She recieves breast milk-but via bottle. Tonight she had 4 red flecks in her stool. ??
I understand your concerns but don't worry. The most likely reason for excess cry with red specks in stools is anal fissure or hemorrhoids. So, I would recommend you to visit a pediatric surgeon for proper clinical examination. They may advice you for local anesthetic and pain relief lotion such as lidocaine.
