Why Does Synthroid Cause Pain?

My daughter in law just started takind Synthroid for an underactive thyroid, she also suffers from fibromyalgia. She said since she started taking Synthroid she can hardly get out of bed and the pain is so bad. She is 31 years old. She is going back to her Dr. as soon as she can get an appointment. Could this possibly the wrong meds for her or the wrong dosage?

Dear patient, the correct dosage needs to be evaluated through blood work (TSH, T3, T4 thyroid hormones). With correct dosage, there is mostly no pain. Best regards
