Why Do I Feel Stuffed Up In The Sinuses?
i have a question that has nothing to do with my health right now, but happened about 25 years ago. i have never gotten an answer to what happened and thought i would ask tonight.
i had felt fine, just a little stuffed up in the sinuses, but in Missouri that is not unusual at all. i suddenly felt like something was dislodging from my sinuses and suddenly could not breath. i coughed and got out a perfectly round object with spikes all over it. it was really lovely and fit in the palm of my hand. i was going to put it in a plastic bag and ask someone, but it melted in my hand into a gob of goo, yuck. the rest of the day i could breath better than i had for a long time. i have always wondered what that round object was. i have never seen anything like it since and it has never happened again.

Stuffiness of the sinuses suggests inflammation of the sinuses.
Dislodgement of a round object from your sinuses which dislodged immediately can be due to mucus plug.
Mucus discharge and formation of mucus plugs is common in inflammation of sinuses.
A solid object will not disintegrate immediately.
It seems there are allergens in the air at your place.
If may not be possible to eliminate the allergens in the air.
However, acute episodes can be managed by antihistamines.
If the problem is very troublesome you can consult a immunologist.
