Why Do I Still Have Knee Pain After Pulling A Ligament 2 Yrs Ago And Taking Tylenol Occassionally ?

I pulled a ligament in my knee 2 years ago and I m still having problems with it. It cracks and I get a severe pain in it. I wear a knee brace every once in a while and take tylenol quite a bit, but nothing seems to work. How do I make it stop hurting?
