Why Do I Have Swooshing Sound In My Ear?

So the day before yesterday, I was experiencing this swooshing sound in my right ear, in time with my pulse. I didn't pay any attention to it because it happens to me sometimes, but usually goes away within a couple minutes. It would come and go that day, then it kept me up all night. The next day, I had my ear irrigated and a bunch of hard wax came out, so I figured that would fix it. The swooshing however has still not gone away. This is my third day of it now. Could it possibly be because the irrigation made the inside of my ear swell up? I need to know how to make it stop and stay gone. Help!

Note: I do not feel ill otherwise and find when I go outdoors it seems to stop for a while, but not permanently :(

I am 20 and 5'6, 118 pounds with no other relevant medical history.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
a wooshing sound synchronous with your pulse needs to be investigated.. ear examination, possibly a MRI and a nasal endoscopy to rule out any neoplasm..specifically a glomus tumour .. but maybe just a simple rust schism tube block as well ... please consult an Ent specialist..
