Why Do I Have Irregular Heart Rate?
HI THERE, I AM A 65 YEAR OLD FEMALE AND I HAVE BEEN HAVE A PULSE OF 90 PLUS AT TIMES. I TAKE SYTHROID AND JUST WANDERING IF I SHOULD SEE A CARDIOLOGIST AS WELL AS MY REGULAR MD FOR MY THYROID. I have not been feeling well for over a month. My heart seems to have irregular beats and I feel very tired.

Hi I read your query very carefully.
You're taking synthroid for hypothyroidism, however one of the side efect is tachycardia and atrial fibrillation.
So I recommend to measure thyroid hormones in the blood and consulting a cardiologist.
