Why Do I Have Bleeding And Period Cramps After Delivering A Baby?

5 weeks postpartum. Lochia stopped at 32 days (4w4d). Tonight started bleeding again (seems heavier than lochia) with period-like cramps. Is it possible to get my period again this early? I am EBF (every 2 hours) and on the minipill (started it at 3 weeks pp)

Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
One can get regular periods as early as one month after delivery.
So, it is not at all abnormal to have periods after childbirth, even when exclusively breast feeding.
There is absolutely nothing to worry.
Cramps with menstruation is a common phenomenon after delivery.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
