Why Did I Bleed After Having Intercourse As I Am 12 Weeks Pregnant ?
Hi, please i need advice, i am 12 weeks 4 days pregnant , was having sex with my husband when i noticed i was bleeding . The bleeding gradually reduced to spotting. Pls is my baby still safe. Also i noticed i have U.T.I, What drug can i take.

If you had bleeding it is best you consult your Doctor to rule out any danger to the baby. Even urinary tract infection can cause bleeding but it will be very mild. Drink plenty of water. Do not delay.

During pregnancy, bleeding after intercourse is most likely due to placental bleeding. You need to get an ultrasound scan done to find out the localisation of placenta. If it is low lying then you need to avoid future intercourse and any heavy work. Do not take any medicine without consulting your gynecologist.
