Why Color Between The Cuts Is Pink And Numb After Surgery For Ovarian Cyst Removal?

I had a ovarian cyst, ovary, and tube removed in surgery 6 days ago. Leaving me with 3 cuts approx 1 inch long each. Yesterday my stitches were taken out. Today just minutes ago I noticed one side of my stomach inbetween 2 of the cuts, was pinkish in color and the area itself was numb. Why?????

thanks for your query.your description says you have undergone a laproscopic procedure.it is very common to have skin irritation and numbness around lap holes for a few days/weaks after laproscopy.it will subside with the drugs you are given, which usually include antibiotics and analgesics.meanwhile, keep the area clean and dry to avoid any infection.nothing to worry atpresent.
