Why Can't U Smoke Marijuana After Local Anesthetic ?
I just had a core biopsy on my lympnode in my neck and was putt under locale anistetic. After I woke they told me not to smoke. I m a medical marijuana user for my stage 2 cancer . I would like to medicate safely. I m I in danger if I smoke pot???

"During general anesthesia, additive effects of marijuana and potent inhaled anesthetics can result in pronounced myocardial depression [which usually accompanies severe sepsis and septic shock]"
So may be doctor told not to smoke
