Why Am I Having Blood In Saliva In The Mornings And While Blowing Nose?
I'm a 23 year old male. I have been having blood in my saliva when I wake up in the morning for that past month. It started out just being a tinge occasionally, sometimes during the day too. Now it has only been happening in the morning. It's not an insane amount of blood, but enough that I have to spit 10 times to before the blood starts clearing up. I also have blood when I blow my nose. I have no pain in my chest or anything like that.

Hello, Welcome to HCM, You may be having infection which is irritating the oropharynx and also the nasopharynx. If there is any injury in these region can also present with the symptoms of spitting blood tinged saliva. The infective agents will irritates the mucosa and may lead to shedding of mucosa which will add red colour to the saliva. I would suggest you to undergo oral examination and find out the anatomical region causing these symptoms, after this your doctor may prescribe medications like antibiotics and the mouth gargle to maintain the oral hygiene. Thank you.
