Why Am I Urinating More With A Bladder Pain?

today is my second day of taking hydrocholothiazide 25 mg and all I have been doing is urinating. I felt weird, my body felt hot and I had pain around my bladder. My left hip just started hurting a little making me walk funny. Is it the pills causing me to feel this way or can I be dehydrated. I have been drinking fluids but have to urinate right after.

Urologist 's  Response
Hi.
Hydrochlorothiazide r known to cause frequent urination as a side effect. Besides u have been taking a lot of fluids. So the more u drink, the more the pressure on ur bladder and hence the pain, and the more frequently u pass urine.
U need to restrict ur intake of water to 2-2.5 litres per day with 1-2 glasses at a time only. This way ur symptom can be abated.
