Why Am I Having Really Bad Cramps During My Periods ?

im 45 years old. ive been having two periods a month.this month the clots are really bad i might go one week out of a month that i dont have a period. ive been to a doctor , and all she did for me was give me pain pills ,after i told her how bad the cramps where.thats been about a year ago.its so bad now im scared that there is something bad wrong.i dont have insurance.so thats a problem as well..the cramps are like having labor pains.

Hi
You are probably going through menopause.That means you will have heavy bleeding,irregular cycles.If the bleeding if very heavy you will need medicines to control that.Also you should get an ultrasound to rule out uterine pathology like fibroids.
