I have crohns disease
which is an IBD. IBD is different than IBS but similiar, IBD can only be determined by a colonoscopy
. I am only 19 years old I am also a female and I have experienced pain similar to this. I had the heaviness on my chest, and pain in my upper right side. Turns out your gall bladder
is located on the upper right side of your stomach and your pancreas is located in the center of your upper stomach which can feel like pain in your chest. Both of which could all hurt your abdomin intensely if you have gallstones. Gallstones can cause pancreatitis
, which in a nutshell is swelling of your pancreas. It just so happens that I had gallstones and pancreatitis. It was relieved by removal of my gallbladder
. Just to be safe you might want to go to the local er and get an ultrasound of your gallbladder and have them check your lipase levels.
