Why Am I Having Mild Flu Like Symptoms And Burning In My Throat While On Crestor And Plavix?

I have had a cough since I had a week of mild flu like symptoms early in November. Since then the cough has continued along with lots of phlem but only when I am laying down. Plus a harsh burning in the throat. And just with in the past 2-3 weeks I have had boughs of instantainious sweating. Menopause is not the problem. Been there and am done with that. Along with all of these symptoms I need to also add that I have had 3 heart stents and one carotid stent in the past year so I am taking Crestor and plavix. Any thoughts?

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears that you have a cough due to the chest infection. As it is not controlled completely, it appears to be lead to the congestive heart failure, as there is already heart problem and treatment.
I advise you to consult a cardiologist for diagnosis and treatment.You may need to have E.C.G, echo, etc tests for confirmation.
Avoid taking fruits, juices, ice water, ice cream, and the things allergic to you to prevent further cough.
