Why Am I Having Breast Milk After 9 Months Of Abortion?

Hi.... I'm a mother of one. I got pregnant again four months after the birth of my daughter so at 23 weeks I decided to get an abortion. My question is why do I still have breast milk if my abortion was nine months ago and I never breastfed my daughter?

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. It is not normal to observe breast secretion so long after the abortion. Please get your serum Prolactin levels checked. If they are higher than normal, this gives the reason for the prolonged milk secretion. If it is normal, it may be considered to be a physiological phenomenon and the possibility of yet another pregnancy in the mean time also should be borne in mind. Please get a specialist to do a proper evaluation with a physical examination. Hope this helps.
