ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello,
Its better to smell something inside your nose rather than smelling all the filth in other people's rotten minds !!!
Jokes apart, you seem to be suffering from an acute attack of sinusitis, this foul odour being a prodromal symptom. Cold, nasal discharge will follow.
Start a nasal decongestant drops.
Take an antiallergic and a mucolytic.
A mild antibiotic like Azithromycin will definitely be of help.
Drink plenty of water.
Avoid dusty and smoke-filled places.
Go for a total and differential count of blood.
If the problem persists, do not hesitate to consult an ENT Specialist.
Take care.
Wishing that you smell daffodils and roses soon.

General & Family Physician Dr. Ramesh M.Vachharajani's  Response
Hi, Pamel,
Thanks for query,
You might have chronic sinusitis,at present you may not have any symptoms due to infection in the sinus mucosa you may get foul smelling.
Some times swelling or partial blockage in naso lacrimal duct may cause this problem.
Go for X-ray of frontal and maxillary sinus.
ok and bye.
