Why Am I Experiencing Fever And Dry Cough?

Hi doctor, there is cough for the past 10days accompanied by fever, initially I had too much of phlegm took 3 sittings of nebuliser.Now its a dry cough.Took a chest x-ray, found haziness in the lower part of lungs... What could be the reason for the haziness? Is something serious?

From your history it is clear that you are suffering from chest infection. You have to take one antibiotic like tab levofloxacine 500 mg once daily or you can also use tab linezolid 600 mg twice daily after meals for at least 5 days along with tab akilos-p or tab dan-p twice daily after meals for fever with tab rantac or tab famotid two times daily before taking meals. For dry cough, you can simply take syrup tusq-dx or syrup grilinctus 2 tsf three times daily. It will recover within 5-7 days, don't worry much.
