Whitish Spots In The Throat. Throat Infection From Childhood. Need A Permanent Solution

i am from pakistan. chronic issue of flue inside the throught its was causing throught infection and fever since my childhood. i am 40 years old, few month ago a single white spot like fungus appeared in my throught, then i contacted local ENT specialist and discuss about it, he is saying he is not the proublum and harmful. is it true?

Hello dear,

All these symptoms indicate that you might be having Pharyngitis.
Management includes:
1. Gargle with warm salt water to relieve throat pain.
2. Analgesics like paracetamol
3. Antibiotics depending upon culture & sensitivity reports to remove the causative organism.
4. Antihistamine preparations can also be used to provide symptomatic relief.

If symptoms still persist...it will be better to consult an ENT specialist.
Meanwhile...avoid taking cold food & drinks, maintain adequate hydration & take soft, non-spicy foods.
