White Spots On Bottom Lips, Not Sensitive Or Paining, Reoccurs At The Same Place. Solution?
I have had white spots on my bottom lips for a year now. they begin as ry spots, usually unelevated, no pain or sensitivty. They are also dry.. as time goes on they can become white in color. they disappear if i leave them along along with using chapstick but reappear in teh exact same spots. Its very frustrating. They arent sores I dont think simply because they arent irritated nor do they hurt. Can you help me with this?
White spots on lower lip may be leucoderma following inflammation due to relapsing herpes labialis. It is a mild viral infection caused by HSV virus.
You may be having relapsing mild herpetic lesions on lower lip, which may be responsible for white spots on lower lip.
Take antiviral like acyclovir 400 mg daily for long time. Immunobusters like levamisole 50 mg for long time. Apply acyclovir cream, when you feel redness on lip. When there is white spot, you apply tacrolimus oint. You may be improved.
Do not apply cosmetics or lipsticks on lip. And do not prick or squeez the lip.
I hope you got my answer.
Thanks.
